Thanks! I figured that was the one. I looked at the extreme cooling fans first and the one that looks like that said not to be used in dirt/dust/water.. I was like WTF. :)

I really hope this works for you.. I still want to do an electric fan mod on the Taco... it feels so neglected these days.

Yep and not only those issues but you can't use the PWM with the Extreme models either. I would think the HO series should work just fine seeing they pull 3400CFM. I will post up once I start to mod the OE shroud but with the temps outside @105+ it may be a lil while.

SO the sheet aluminum and fan are complete and all is back into the truck for testing. I have the controller directly hooked up to switch for the time being as Im having a hell of a time getting to the + wire for the temp sensor, man they put that sucker in a hell of a place. Well, the preliminary testing shows this was the ticket when installing an E-fan. I was getting pretty hight temps when running the AC during hot days up around 208 as opposed to 190 with this new set up. Anyway, when I get the fan ECU all hooked up I post the results I'm glad to be rid of the OE clutch fan once again and looks as if cooling will not be an issue as it was with the Flex-A-Lite kit.

Your getting up that high? Im not over 180° most ofof the time. only time it gets that hot is sitting stuck in traffic(and the fan is on the whole time cooling it down). Toyota run these trucks pretty hot for gas efficiency.
