PM sent to you

It would not be easy for anyone to just fab up, if so I would have made my own. I have seen some really janky ones that where home made, but nothing I would put on my truck.

What does it look like I haven't had a chance play with the plasma cutter yet

you can not weld the idler arm due to melting the internals.

so no gussets

the best type is a diagnal brace but i can not find a pic from downey to make one. all the pics i found have them on the idler arm.

I'm not saying that it couldn't be fabbed, but for what they cost they cannot be fabbed economicaly.

The design of the Moog does make it less inclined to bend, but the bushings will still end up being destroyed. The Toyota arm is a good arm also, and with a brace & bronze bushings they are the strongest option IMO.

Yes but it still has plastic bushings. For the life of me I could not tell you why Toyota decided to put plastic bushings in thier idler arms in the first place or why after market arms still do.

i talked with some people that have the moog and they have had issues with replacement bushings/bending. they say it will last longer then stock but will break the same.

plastic does seem like a weak choice.
