Oh boy! I haven't been to the shop for a while now! Yesterday I got my last delivery - axles, shocks, full-float kit! I will have a very busy week next week!!! - Now to find some beadlocks to put those Krawlers on! :D

I guess I should have a fence painting party - oops I meant a truggy building party!

LOL, nice

Glad the full floater kit finally came in

Same here! The saddest part - backpacking this weekend I thought "Maybe I should sell the trucks and get a Porche powered camper van..." Sad huh!?

I've now got to get that bitch on the trail!!!

Thanks for the words! :D

I had similar "crazy" thoughts about the 4Runner, but hitting the trail with it removed all doubt. You definitely need to get that thing on the rocks

I hear you! Now we'll see. :D

Nice! I can't wait to see it complete. (or as complete as it will be on its first maiden voyage :) ) Have you thought about the beadlocks? Walker Evans are very swanky! Or just have OMF build you a custom set using some TRD wheels.. Some orange centers with flat black rings.. or vice versa would look BADASS! Just trying to help spend money when I can. lol

lol!!!

I have thought about Walkers - poly $345 each free ship. Or maybe I should stick with some allied's. Today I stopped by the shop - too effen hot right now. I now have all the stuff for the shocks and full floaters. I have little excuse now!

Maiden voyage will be local but I will be taking up to Swamp Lake/Shaver Lake area for a 2 - 3 day'r.

My friend has Allied's and I used to want a set. But after watching him hammer the lips back into place after every run (and during the runs) I think I'll pass. The DOT aspect is nice, but they seem a bit fragile to me.

Thanks for the tip!!! I hate to say it but I think the DOT hubbalu is way over rated... For a couple of hundred more and since I will be declaring BK soon (only kidding but my personal economy has been sucking wind!!! - Thought I would never say this but I may need to switch careers!! :-\) - I think the Walkers probably have my name on them! I think they will offset the full floaters nicely! :D.

Who has an interest and wants to put a full float on their truck? After getting this kit, I think it would be very sweet to build your own. I can give you all the dimensions you may need and I bet you could make it for 1/2 the price of the Front Range kit and you would would have your truck rolling in half the time!!! :D Let me know as I am putting this bitch together today! :D

I do, but I have a T-100 rear, so I think the measurements would be different.

If I was planning to drive my junk on the street I would.. as it is though I'm removing all the hubs on my rig. But thats a great idea to build a set.

Oh. I think its the same... only difference is the length of the axles.

I've never seen a broken 8.4 axle shaft so I'm not to concerned about a full float kit, my problem is I keep tearing up 8.4 R&Ps.

Only thing different would be the length of the shafts, easy to get that new measurement with a tape measure and have your stockers cut and splined or have some new ones made.

I didn't break anything there, it was later that day. But if it happens again I'm going hunting for a bigger axle.
