I didn't break anything there, it was later that day. But if it happens again I'm going hunting for a bigger axle.
Hence the reason I might just need a bigger axle

You may need to be the first on the block with a...

Think of it less as an example and more of a character reference... bouncing off the rev limiter in 4lo

Randy you already have all the parts... the 14FF and the 60 from the Cheby. Problem solved. :)

The 60 has found a new home now, I just couldn't justify keeping it around without using it. And I don't want to mess with the 14 bolt unless I have to on the tacoma, what with the speed sensors in the rear axle and all.

Oh phuck! Just took out the bronze bushings out of the spindles for the FF kit. Drove in their seal cup - only to find out in the TG housing there is no need for the phucking adapter!!! The cup is built into the housing! Now to get new seals and drive those adapters out! Woulda, shouda, coulda saved me a lot of time. When I asked Brian about any issues - He wanted to sell me an axle. Phucker! :D lol

473424 National seal - just for reference. This is the seal for the Front Range kit - and will fit into the cup on the Trail Gear Housing! :D

I love "Right Stuff!" lol

Adapters installed (one brake mounting is for the Supra brakes and the other is for the LC brakes - I'll have the Supra ones so that I have an emergency brake! :D)

This is where I found out the kit (as designed) will not work with the TG housing. IMO that's a good thing since I would rather have fewer pieces and reinstall the seal in the standard way so that it's easier to remove! The only bad part is due to the design of the axle I can't use stock seals. The only other application that I could find for these seals is a camshaft seal on a Cosworth Vega!!! lol

Oh one other issue was that I had to re-tap the 10 1.25 threads!!! I'm glad I was at a full-service shop!!! :D

Hope to burn in the shock mounts, assemble the shocks and get this bitch off the frame tomorrow!!! :D
