Didn't take me THAT long to get them looking decent. I did a good amount of reading first. I think the only way to step up my game would be to get a gas setup. The flux spatter is getting old

Um have you seen his welds? I've laid down a lot of weld and I know mine don't compare. Flux splatter is fixed by a using a bottle, easy fix. But making a MIG weld look like a stack of dimes is a TOTALLY different ballgame.

Results:

Seals (only known application is a Cosworth Vega cam seal) was not as snug as they should have been...

so a little "Right Stuff" oughta do the job!

None!!! He was able to help out today... As much as I do want to burn some welds, with his beautification efforts, I would be crazy!!!

You may actually have a problem with the tire getting into that shock hoop, hard to tell from the pic (and I don't know what red labels run actual size) but it looks like it will be close.
