I think I'm losing a u-joint in this thing. At least I hope it's a u-joint. Getting a big 'thud' when I let off the clutch. Something's got a lot of slack in it somewhere. I guess if something's wrong it'll break Sunday. At least u-joints are fairly cheap and I have a whole spare driveline in my back yard.

Well the u-joints are okay. I'll figure it out someday, when it breaks.

No auto locker?

Might just be axle wrap

Or bad engine/ t-case mounts

Yeah it has the Detroits but this is way worse than what I would expect from them. Axle wrap is a good possibility. I drove it around the block about 20 times (~20 miles) and noticed it's worst when taking off in first but can be felt from 2nd to 3rd as well. When I do the high steer I'll pull the axles apart and check out the R&P, lockers, shafts, etc. I want to pull the front ones to see if I have Longs anyway.
