Frack me..
Got a call a short while ago, no A/C! apparently, the fan is not blowing. Bianca hears a "hum" but no air coming out of the vents. Likely the Start Cap.. will pick one up and change it when I get home. It's going to suck camping in an rv at the beach with no A/C!

Yeah, probably not worth going. Would be better to take a tent

we already made reservations at the RV park. They won't allow tents unless there is an RV there too. look pretty weird driving in an RV and popping a tent.. lol

I am pretty confident I can fix it before take off.

Got the AC working Friday, the shaft to the AC fan was stuck.. guess the bearing in the motor is going out? it's not making noise or anything just looks corroded. Will remember that for the future. Worked great all weekend, then on the way home the RV started pulling hard to the passenger side. Hit the brake and it would pull to the Driver's side hard. Pulled over, got out and the wheel on the passenger side was too hot to touch!

Crap.. Pulled it apart when I got home, looks like the caliper was stuck on the passenger side. It had some rust on it.. so I called around and it was only $40.00 for a replacement. The one good thing about Ford parts is they are cheap as hell.. I bled the brakes before putting it back together and calling it a night last night. sheesh, what's next..

Yeah, I fixed the brakes and the AC. Then the Slide out get's stuck.. apparently, the slide toppers bind and it bent the crap out of the mounting brackets. I think everything is just covered in rust, dust, and corrosion. It must have sat for a long time before some mullet like me bought it.

Well, My AC was not working correctly last weekend. It's had an issue since I bought it.. on really hot days and a lot of usage, the compressor seems to get stuck on.. The fan will turn off, and you will wake up in the middle of the night to a seriously loud hum.. sounds like a compressor stuck on or something.. I use to be able to cut the breaker let it cool down and it would start working perfectly again but this last weekend every time I turned the breaker on it would go back to humming. I completely removed the thermostat from the circuit and still had the same problem, so the Thermostat is fine.. Must be the PC board.. I ordered one this morning, and will install it this upcoming weekend at Matagorda.. I sure hope that's it, gonna suck having to manually switch it on and off with the breaker.. :D

For future reference, the part number in Winnebago's book was 7330B3311 which is discontinued.. replacement part is 83305571 $139.00
