I had my fingers crossed that someone would take my front bumper off during the last heavy rains. No such luck though. I think you might have the right idea about a full armor front bumper though.

I hate to say but within weeks of getting my Shrockworks (too heavy IMO), a woman hit me and it totaled her car. All it did to my truck was to scratch a 1/4" wide line in the powder coat of my front bumper. The adjuster didn't know what to do, so he gave me a check for a new bumper. :)

Yep, making me rethink a full front bumper. This is the second time she's been hit!

Thats crazy. It's not like you can't see a big ass red Toyota.

That's exactly what I said. She looked over her shoulder and looked me right in the eyes just before cutting me off! Ive had people Do that to me on my motorcycle but not a giant red SUV.

I had my fingers crossed for YEARS that someone would rear end me so I could get a rear bumper lol

@TNRunner Just order a new front bumper and headlight, do the work yourself and pocket the change (or buy a winch with the left over money. It's what I did with mine).

That Rubbermaid stuff the OEM sells gets $$$. I bet its enough to cover a good bumper.. not to mention no body and paint costs for it.

Should be. Insurance adjuster is looking at it tomorrow then cutting a check. I'll buy something bare metal, have it lined to match the rear, then install it myself. Id like to find one that can be delivered within 30 days since my rental is only good for that long.

That was my dilemma what I flopped my truck in 09... nobody could get me another front bumper soon enough, However you might get lucky. My new Brute Force Fab rear bumper was at my house less than a month after ordering it... and I added custom touches.

We need a revival of that scene Sean. A PSA of sorts for tue betterment of mankind.
