I will post pics & videos as I can. I am currently loading them.
On the road to Moab.
Rainstorm in New Mexico
Spent the night in New Mexico somewhere on BLM land. We got there super late and woke up first thing that morning to pack up and leave. This is the view we woke up to.
The next day we got to Moab! We were so ready to get on the trails that I didn't stop to setup either of my cameras. I'm still kicking myself for not getting videos.
The first trail we started was Steel Bender trail. Which we did just what the name implies. Bent all of our armor The trail was quite hard and we did the trail backwards as well. We probably should've done a warmup trail first! did I mention it was toasty hot!
The next day after we completed Steel Bender, I swapped out my driver's side wheel bearing that was on it's way out. The last place I want to swap a wheel bearing is Hell's Revenge.
Then we started Hey Joe Canyon trail. I would probably not recommend this trail as it is a paint remover trail and barely wide enough for Tacoma's at a few points in the trail. We only did a 1/4 of the trail as I realized that I had lost my Trasharoo on the fire road that leads to Hey Joe.
The fire road that you get to Baja down to get to the trail.
We ended up camping off of Mineral Pass that night. We found an AMAZING camp spot that we had all to ourselves. It was my favorite camp spot of the entire trip.
We had to clear some brush to get to the little trail that would get us to the camping spot.
We hooked my truck up to the trees to get them out of the way.
View of the stream that we would be by all night! Pretty beautiful and secluded.
Jason and I installed my ARB dual air compressor and Slee Offroad compressor mount. The mount is pretty awesome and it was mostly a breeze to install. The start of installing the mount. It actually came with awesome instructions for a change.
And finished! I forgot to bring my electrical bag with all of my fittings so I wasn't able to wire it in permanently.
The girls doing some Yoga while Jason and I drank and installed my compressor.
