I know it is extremely early to start talking about such an event, especially since it hasn't even happened in 2019 yet. However, that being said, I have a kid due around that time and getting away isn't likely for me this year. Plus, since this would be a pretty big distance for everyone (at least I don't know of anyone else on this forum in that area), it gives everyone plenty of time to plan.
What: Appalachian Toyota Roundup.
Per the website (Home Page): The “Appalachian Toyota Round-Up”, (also known as ATR) is the largest annual gathering of Toyota off-road enthusiast on the East Coast.
Where: Windrock Park. Oliver Springs, TN.
Per the website (Windrock Park): 300+ miles of OHV trails on 72,000+ acres
Google Maps
When: Apparently this happens every Labor Day. So I'm estimating September 4-7, 2020. Of course, you are welcome to go in 2019, but you'll miss my smiling face.
Normally, I'm not one for big crowds, but I've had an eye on this event for the last few years. Seems like a decent time and could certainly be worth the drive. Plus, it gives everyone (at least those in TX) a chance to experience some new terrain.
