Stop me if I have told you this but I (oh someone tried to stop me! ;))

In high school I was rebuilding an engine and my buddies kept asking, "When will it be done" I said when the Pope dies. He died... They asked again and I said I was sorry and I didn't mean to do that but in his honor I would get it done before the next one died... Guess what? He died too!!! (ref: Paul VI - (21 June 1963 – 6 August 1978 - 15 years, 46 days) and John Paul I (26 August 1978 – 28 September 1978
0 years, 33 days))

Moral to the story - don't be a Pope!

I remember that timeframe! Freaky that they both died so close in time to each other.

Okay, a month later and I have finally assembled my engine stand, lol. Ready to pull the motor off the frame tomorrow. I lubed the hell out of the rotating part with lithium grease.

Hey Drew, which stand did you go with? Looks pretty beefy.

Nice, you'll appreciate that folding when the time comes to store it.

Looks good, You still have the option to re-use your 3.0 clutch. IIRC the 3.4 one is just a tad bit larger.

I will, but just found out that the shape of the base makes it harder to get the engine from the hoist to the stand, lol

Oh yeah! If it was T shaped it would be easier. Well that sucks, I wouldn't have thought of that if I was buying one.
