Ok All. We are doing a Night Trail ride Friday night Aug 31. That's in 1 week. We are planning on leaving Lubbock around 8:30 pm and heading up to Amarillo. Plan on wheeling all night until day light. Acting a sleeping bag or tent. Bring the girlfriends and wife's. We will be going to Roaitta flats OHV area. This is a free OHV park however you are supposed to have a OHV sticker/permit. They are $16 per vehicle and good at any OHV park in the nation for 1 year. You can pick them up at any motorcycle shop in Lubbock. All vehicles and experience levels welcome. If you want to come and are short a ride, post up, we ill try to find you someone to ride with.

Sounds good. Most of us will be meeting in Lubbock then heading north to Amarillo. If you have any questions just PM me.

I don't think I will do both trips. Wheeling all night and then driving half way across Texas sounds like something I would do in my younger days.
We can meet in Zephyr, I have been there a few times to the deer processor.

I don't see why? Texas is such a small state. :)

I was just up there last month and it seemed like it took forever to get home once we crossed the Canadian River....wait... It did take forever to get hom, 7 hours sounds about right.
After thinking about it if I drive that far this weekend I will go to the Ozark Mountains but the hurricane might make it very wet around there. Dove hunting with Drew still sounds very promising.
