Ordered some Baja Designs S2 Flood/Work pods for reverse lights. Going to cut them into my bumper and wire them up to the tail lights. I like that these are small and put out 1,130 lumens per light.

They were pricey but I got an awesome amazon gift card as a gift so it covered that cost. :)

Ended up returning these lights. Messed up the order and got the wrong lense. Thinking about it, these are super Overkill and much larger than I'm wanting. So I'm looking at ordering some Ridgid Ignite flush pods. They are much smaller and more importantly much cheaper.

Changed my oil. It was black and definitely ready for a change. Going to get my tires rotated and balanced in a bit.
Also in the process of replacing the shitty LED lights I bought from LSjumper (IIRC his username correctly) on tardworld. Replaced the front turn signals with some Sylviania LED's. They aren't as bright but they look and feel way more heavy duty.

New OME leaf packs with the AAL. New heavy duty 1/4" shackles that I had to modify. New wheelers U-bolts (these are really nice). Thank God I got new U-bolts because I had to cut an old U-bolt out that had siezed.
Big shout-out to the @thekidcatcher for helping me out.

Truck rides great and sits about an inch higher.

I've been meaning to post a build thread for a long time. Just never got around to it.
Just a FYI, this truck is my money pit and one of my few hobbies. Everytime I drive my truck it puts a smile on my face. You can see why in the pics below and on my trip travel threads. :)

There are new thoughts on that topic. Also know that most all of these cracks start out as nicks - be sensitive to nicks and you may not get the cracks. :) And also mount bumpers and such with more than proper clearance. More damage has been made by mounting things without knowing how FLEXIBLE our frames our - with the exception of LandCruiser spec frames and bodies (4runners & Lexi) - and how Tacos have a fraction of the spot welds that Landcruiser spec vehicles have.

I've noticed every single spot weld on my front end is rusting from within/under the paint. Also where all my cracks start. Bad engineering on toyotas part for sure. Same exact issues found on rear door supports for double cabs....thank goodness I have an ac.

Yikes.... that means up here they would of lasted a single winter salt season.

In terms of corrosion resistance and what I have seen with my own eyes.... King > Icon > Fox. Fox seems to have rust right out of the darn box. Their clear coat is such a joke I never installed my rears until I stripped their "clear coat" off and painted them myself.

Icon certainly looks nice new. It would be great to have a design that could withstand the use we give them. The trucks that inspired all this stuff were and still are wiped down with WD40 and a scotch brite at nearly every opportunity. Be thankful All Pro didn't make shocks! lol

Yep, I can agree with this since that's exactly what happened with my Fox shocks.

I'm happy the manufacturers make and offer what they do. Just sad all the proving grounds are outside the salt belt. I remember having a conversation with TC many years ago and them being perplexed by why I would ever want softer stainless uniballs. Glad to see they now default to stainless and the true racers can still buy chrome as an option.
