Careful. You are treading into Jeep territory.

I got my old shitty wiring, switches, and fuse block pulled out. Got my Auxbeam wiring panel modified and installed. I was also able to finish wiring all but two lights up tonight. I have been dreading doing this project for a LONG time but it went really well.

I've got to run to Napa tomorrow and grab some 3/8" oil hose so I can relocate my oil catch can. I had to cut down the Auxbeam mounting bracket to fit my catch can alongside it.

Where did you mount the panel?

That’s slick. I have similar on the Colorado but it’s in the drivers side window defrost vent.

Ordered Diode Dynamics rock lights.

Next month I'm ordering a winch. Looking at the Warn Evo 10s (it's stupid it doesn't come with a wireless remote). Fuck, Warn has gotten proud of their winches. Their top tier winch prices are fucking laughable...

I also found this one.

Rock lights? Winch? You expecting to go off pavement with that rig? Your work have a bad parking lot?

Trying to get it back together so I can do a Colorado trip next year.

And yes, my work has several terrible condition parking lots 😂

Check out Carbon winches. Colt Builts it uses them. They are from Australia. Seem pretty nice. But might be worth looking into if you haven’t ordered one already. As for the Superwinch, I have one and it’s been solid the one time I used it to save @bakerla taocos door. LOL

This is the first line of the description on the Carbon winch: "Got a bar rated to 10K? Stay within spec and retain your warranty with the Carbon Scout Pro XD10."

That's not exactly confidence inspiring that they'll warranty it.

No idea, but he did some comparisons to other brands and the Carbon was faster.

I can confirm my Smittybilt has been an impressive winch with multiple uses each year. There are a few guys in my subdivision that have the same model that used them to winch stuck vehicles this last ice event. No issues from any of them.

12k Badland is a stout unit. Plenty of youtubers are beating the shit out of them. I put one on the kids Jeep.

I'm just thinking of getting the Warn. Buy once, cry once. Taking the bumper off to mount and wire the winch in is a PIA.

Spent a few hours last night re-doing more of my shitty college wiring. Got a Blue Seas bus bar mounted in the corner of the fenderwell to clean up the wiring on my positive battery terminal.

Also relocated my @yotarob catch can and got some hose from Napa to re-route it. However, the hose is just a hair too thick for my liking and I've decided I'll sleep better if I re-do it with a thinner hose. It was actually a good thing I had to re-route this catch-can, the old rubber hose had completely dried out and broke apart easily.

My rock lights came in yesterday and my panel mount comes in today, so I'm going to get those installed after work. Later this week, I'll get the controls for my ARB dual air compressor wired back in and I'm hoping that it still runs.

I'm trying to keep the momentum going on getting all of this wiring done so the truck is dialed in again after neglecting it for years.

If that ARB does not run you are in luck, they now sell a brushless version. :)

Ordered a pair of the Diode Dynamics Flush mount CR2 pods for the rear bumper. These are pretty sweet as they are a white reverse flood light, a red running light, and a bright red brake light (that also flashes 3 times when you step on the brake. You can disable the flashing if you want). Hopefully this will keep me from getting rear ended again lol
