Looks like I need to make sure my sights are adjusted properly before going out there.



If I can get away from work a day earlier I plan on going to Christmas mountains before BBRSP. How is the baby/ hostage situation going?

Brice (@Yunohoo) and Will (no SN) have to work on the first, so they'll have to leave on the 30th to make the drive back to Houston.

We also won't be leaving DFW at 4AM like @tx_shooter so we will likely get there around sunset.

I've gotta sit this one out, guys. I've had some travel for work lately, and it's proven to be pretty hard on momma with the baby still being so young.

I'm a little bummed I'm gonna miss the trip, but I've gotta take care of my girls. I'll still be on vacation that week, so maybe I'll try and make a run to Bridgeport that week or something.

I requested this week after Xmas and that next week off, some with pay and some without, boss thinks I’m crazy, I might still consider going, trying to roll over 3 weeks of vacation for next year.

I haven’t got approved yet, tried to get my boss to sign last week, but not really prepared and haven’t kick my laundry fairy into submission yet.....

she was telling me some of her family made changes for Xmas so I will give her a full load and with a delicate dry cycle

I am sure the laundry fairy will forgive you at some point if you skip out. Big Bend is pretty amazing; but I am not sure if it is worth that.

Thanks for the inspiration; but building the kml file routes is already killing me. Google Earth has a pretty good view of the area and the trails to build from. I keep mapping the trail and thinking about what the trail was like.

I think I may still have a KML file from the route we took out to Casa Ramon and back if you want it.

Thanks for the inspiration; but building the kml file routes is already killing me. Google Earth has a pretty good view of the area and the trails to build from. I keep mapping the trail and thinking about what the trail was like.

Map one or two trails, then let the Zen Journey kick in and head down a trail just because, leave room for unmapped fun.
