LMFAO! I bet it was a lot farther to the crossing than it looked... plus the crossing was a helluva long ways from camp.. even in a vehicle.

Yeah, I got a call an hour after the sun went down. Bianca was with them in the kayak and they heard some Peacocks making their calls. Luckily, Bianca and I got lost there earlier and when she called me with Rob's water proof phone.. I knew exactly where to go get them. Rob would NOT get off the rock, sticker bushes everywhere and no shoes.. LMAO. I had to piggy back him to the truck... oh, it was great.

Did they make it to the low water crossing? I guess so if you guys saw them.

Oh, fuck no. After asking someone after we beached it we found out that that low water crossing is a tributary not even connected to the river we were floating.

He'll if i know, i think they ended up on the wrong river channel at some point.

Sean, I saw one of those campers in Madisonville today. Thay had it loaded down going on a trip, pretty sweet looking up close. I bet you could get an old Toyota U-Haul for cheep and that would be a badass start on custom camping rig.
