Yes it is, and real loose. Should it be tight, and round?

I think Marlin has these for like $6.

Suposed to be tight and round. And that nylon bushing is suposed to be white. Looks pretty brittle

There's another bushing up top you'll probably want to replace at the same time. They're both super cheap

Ok. Hopefully this will fix it. It's not fun wheeling in 2nd gear. Plus $20 for both of them!

I put them both on mine (the socket and the seat) and it tightened up the feel of the shifter a lot.

It's just poor mans fuel injection.

It IS easier to convert a 22-R to propane than EFI. But it also has some other advantages especially on extreme inclines and rollovers

Bull, the only reason people run propane is to get the pressurized system so their carb works at all angles, just so happens thats also the reason people switch to EFI.

For one thing, propane gives a more even mixture of air and fuel which means more efficient detonation = more power. Also, it produces less carbon (don't give a fuck about the environment) which means longer engine life.
