Not to impressed with Kevin lately,

Sent him an email Sunday-no response
Called him yesterday- no response

waiting over 4 weeks for skids, getting ready to order Bud Built or Shrockworks or if metalmiller is still doing them here locally?

That's odd, I just talked to him this morning maybe he got tied up. I'd wait for his skids, that 1/4" plate can really take a beating :)

I just tried calling again, just voice mail. I just sent him a email also.

He charged my card on July18 and he doesn't even have the product in his own hands, and you don't get back with your customer??

He was suppose to pick a shipment from his supplier on Monday.

I had been in contact with him for over a month, but if you don't have the product and can't deliver on time and you don't answer you email or a call, its not for me.

This just seems to be an issue for some people and not for others. I've had to wait for Kevin's stuff, but it's never bothered me. I pay via CC, so I'm protected if anything goes wrong (nothing ever has), I don't mind the wait as long as it's done right (it always has been), and I don't need frequent communication (every couple weeks is fine).

But then, I'm easy like Sunday mornin'. Some folks don't jive that way and want a different style of service. Understandable.

If you are referring to the plate front bumper he is building, he is having a hell of a time with the supplier. I spoke to him for a bit last night, in reference to my bumper. He said the supplier made the wrong cuts and he had to send it back and order new ones. I just order and play the waiting game. Best part about Kevin is he doesnt take your money until he is ordering parts for your truck. Some take your money with the knowledge that they wont even start for 4-5 months. Every time I get impatient I just remind myself how hot it is, and that I am not planning on wheeling any time soon. He has always replied to my PMs on TW promptly. I think given his work force size, and all the different things he has going, he does a GREAT job at balancing work and family...just my .02

I've never had a problem getting a hold of him, and I've driven up to pick up my items every time. I think both times I managed to catch him as he was trying to head out on a trip and the first time he waited an hour for me when I got stuck in traffic.

23 to 38. Going with DrewFab's design on the lower mounts slung below the axle and into the wheel. Wanted 15in travel, and Icon had the shortest compressed length around.

Plus they always just look so fuckin' pretty :D

Not entirely sure yet, but right now I'm googling welding shops in Lexington VA. I'm gonna be at ATO 8/23 and 8/24 for the mount relocation work. I'm thinking I'm gonna leave them uncharged for that so we can move the shaft to different lengths to check fitment if we need to. Figure once things are all burned in we'll just run down to the local welding supply guys and have 'em gas 'em up as long as they don't have an absurd price.

Pretty sure Icon/DSMS also left 'em uncharged so I could tune to the charge to my liking. I need to get a reference from them though...not sure what stock is on Icon's 2.5" rears.

Since I'm already up that way for the shock mount stuff, I'm gonna drop by Shoe Creek (laugh with me) that weekend to test everything out a bit. I haven't been on a trail since late May when I blew up my gears the second time. This was the last thing on my list to get done before getting out in the dirt again.

Edit: Looks like there's an Arcet in Buena Vista VA. I'll give 'em a call sometime in the next few days and get a quote.
