Broker's 09 Tacoma Build

Well, finally got around to doing a build thread. It started as a 2009 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-road. No I don’t have a name for it either.
Current Feb 2010

Here it is stock the day I got it home.

Yes, that is my 93 pickup in the background. I would love to start playing with it, but no garage room for now, it is currently sitting in my parents’ yard back in WV

CB in center console, both 2ft & 4ft antennas

ATO Rear Bumper w/ Homemade tire swing added
Diff Breather up into gas cap area
Fox RR 2.0 Shocks up front
Belstein 5150 out back w/ stock leafs & Toytec AAL
Light Racing Upper Control Arms
Ballistic Jester 17x9
BFG KM2 285/70-17
Cab mount chopped to clear tires
Flat top bench in back seats
Weathertech floor mats
Ammo Boxes on bed rails
LED Rock Lights
LEDs in floors
Bud Built Skids, minus front skid, but the stocker is holding up for now
Modified stock inverter to allow continuous 400w use
Switched net book for Motorola xoom because of hard drive issues Offroad. Net book keeps shutting down w HD problems
Netbook mount in cab w/ Derme GPS software

I'm a full supporter of the atrac. No it's prob not as good as a full lockers but hey it came with the truck and it works great for a stock system and i haven't broke any driveline components with it yet (knock on wood). Would I put up against a full locked set up... No, but I would I put it up against open or a limited slip setup.

Hell I think it could have run circles around us, I know Todds Fj (guy with the blue FJ that flopped) runs circles around even the full locked solid axle rigs.

More than likely, and if you join us tomorrow, I will be ATRAC tomorrow. My compressor is out of the truck right now and I haven't had a single minute to even wash the truck! ... or the camping gear from my last trip out!

is your tacoma an OR model as well? and i bet you have had plenty of time to wash urs but would rather play w the other toy. is there gonna be snow on the ground up in the hills tomorrow? wondering how cold its gonna its gonna be.

Long time we no upgrades or anything to the 2k9 but I ordered up some dakars this week since my stocks are flat or reversing after running them kinda hard for two years with the aal. My question to some others is how thick is the Dakar pack w out the extra leaf? Curious if i need new ubolts before the leafs get here. I have a bolt flip but I'm not sure if the bolts are going to be long enough to accomadate the new pack. If they aren't long enough where you guys getting ones long enough from?

Trail gear is a decent option and they ship fast. Also, Front range is super beefy (get the bigger 3.5" radius ones)

I have the front range on now. these are the ones I'm thinking are going to be short. I can't remember if I cut them down or not when i put them on. Thinking I didn't but they seem short for some reason

I think the normal 3" one is too short. Also, a pain in the ass to install. I used the 3.5" on my Taco and also on the 4Runner with good results
