My AC hasn't been working since I bought it, but it just needs a recharge. I'd been waiting till after I removed the console so I wouldn't have to have it done twice.

I thought that massive thing inside the console was some critical part of the A/C system? Will it work without that?

More then likely it will be converted to 134 by now, look for a lil green tag under the hood. It should be close to the hood latch/radiator.

Hell yeah, there's a couple guys on Yotatech that went vinyl and it looks sweet. When are you going to plumb the ARB?

I had to roll down the window, so I went ahead and installed the switch into the remaining portion of the center console. Then I had to short out the "Window Lock" wiring harness so I wouldn't have to reinstall a worthless switch.

Then I installed what will be my bumper mounting brackets. It looks like I will have to clearance them some to make room for the shackle's full range of motion. Shouldn't be a problem.
