Just got off of the phone with Downsouth. Apparently the 12" shocks I ordered on Monday were on backorder, so they're splitting the cost of next day shipping with me so I'll have some 14" travel 5125s tomorrow.

It won't really add any travel to the suspension, but more gas volume is more better

Just got done installing the Ubolt Flip. Drove around the block and the vibrations are alot less severe. Should be good to hit the highway.

Lower shock mounts are ready to weld on to the axle. They drop down 5.5"

Just in time because the shocks came in this morning

Not really, most of it should be inside the wheel. Will be less exposed than on a Tacoma

Just finished the passenger side. The shocks fit perfectly

Think I got the lower mount tucked in far enough? It was so close I could barely fit the nut in to mount the shock bolt

Upper shock mounts all done and painted up

Passenger side welded in

I came in to take a break. More pics later tonight

I'm liking the concept! Next gen - no nut on the inside - theaded fixture.... and 14 inches of travel... what travel will you have on this?

IDK, Less than 14". I'll measure some other time. Just got done welding up the other side.

Here's a pic from the rear. My camera has a fish eye lens, so the shocks look more exposed than they actually are in this shot. It would be hard as hell to hit them on anything.
