Fiberglass fenders and such

Just wanted throw a bump out there for http://glassworksunlimited.com/. I've had the full front set on my truck for almost 8 years now. The whole kit was very inexpensive and included the fenders, hood, and cowl. It all bolted on great, didn't have to trim anything at all. I've really beat the hell out these things and are no worse for the wear. Just recently I did the only real damage by hooking a limb under the front corner where there should have been a corner marker light. It tore a little bit, but we are talking about a 2" limb and I just ran with it. I've rolled this thing on them, leaned on trees, and drug just about anything you can think of across them. I stand on the center of the hood to wash the windshield. I've never put a drop of paint on them and the original gel coat shines up nice. As for tire rub, not even close and I'm sure I could go up to 35's with the long travel and still not touch. The gaps that mine have are more from original body damage and factory mounts being shifted around a bit than the glass.

Parked next to same year.

If you look close, you can see the tear I mentioned and there is a spot above the fender where I was leaning on tree to crawl over a rock.

Bottom line, great fenders, high quality.

Those are some nice fenders, but do you really need them with 32s?

Do you plan to use bigger tires eventually?

With the Total Chaos long travel and the amount of air time/up travel I put it through, yes I really need them with 32's. I've heard that the factory fenders will work, but imo its better to just go on and do it. $500 something for the whole front end kit, why not? Plus I don't think that it would be street legal with the front tires sticking 3.5"'s out of each side.

Either way, it's much nicer with them and they weren't that expensive. Plus I don't get that muddy unless I work at it.
