Its a 12 ton unit holding up the corner of a 2 ton vehicle. I think they are safe.

Yeah, I don't those are junk by any means. If I was putting a semi on them or something I might worry. But for an SUV, its fine. And who is dropping a car onto jack stands? They just sit on them.

Turned the 6’ fence poles at my friend’s house into 8’ poles. Happy to be doing that outside so I didn’t poison myself

Thanks, they turned out pretty good for not having a chop saw to make all the cuts square. I didn’t realize my friend didn’t have one, so I left mine at home. We ended up doing it all with a reciprocating saw and an angle grinder to even them out
