Hello, My name is Brian, I live in San Antonio. I'm a member of Yotatech and TTORA under the same user name, I recently bought an 02' 4Runner and have big plans (and a little wallet) for it. I use to run an 85' CJ7 (still have it) but that was before I went to college and left the sport for a while. Andrew (Drewo2a) is the husband of my GF's sister's friend (yeah we're white trash related) and told me that ya'll are a good group of guys so here I am. I'm almost done paying the Runner off so my build will be kicking off soon. Since I've bought the Runner I've been mostly doing regular maintenance and making sure I have a solid platform before I start tearing shit up. Look forward to wheeling and wrenching with everyone.

Yeah Steve is the man, I got my rear shocks and bumpstops from him. Nothing is installed yet, I've just been gathering parts slowly. All I need are the adjustable bilies for the front and some tires and it'll be go time. Here is the most recent pic I have:

Yeah Steve is the man, I got my rear shocks and bumpstops from him. Nothing is installed yet, I've just been gathering parts slowly. All I need are the adjustable bilies for the front and some tires and it'll be go time. Here is the most recent pic I have:

Looks good, what are your plans for tire? Do you plan on following Drew around? You will need a locker too..

I'm basically doing the SS 1.2 kit, then 255's,285's, or 295's. I will be locking the rear at some point but can't decide on ARB or Aussie (I'm sure when I get to it my wallet will decide for me). Also the normal armor; sliders, ARB taco bumper, and prob the savage offroad rear bumper.

I'm actually checking out your build thread on T4R.org right now <--that sounds creepy

SS 1.2 IS GREAT, I LOVE IT.. love the 255/85/16 KM2 which Drew has too.. I went with the Lockright for 230.00.. Been working Great, it is my Daily Driver. Come out some time, and let's roll... It's nice to have another 3rd gen on T.O.

The runner will be paid off in Nov but then I gotta start saving for an engagement ring (don't worry she knows) so I do my modding sporadically. Once the dust settles and me and the gf are hitched and housed I'll be able to pick up the pace.

hurry! let me know if you need help. The front struts are so much easier than the 2nd Gen Tacoma.
