Hey all have been looking at this forum for a while and decided to become a member! I have a lot of experience with hilux as I built my blue one that unfortunately decided to kill a Suzuki swift when it pulled out in front of me and the injuries sustained in the accident were too bad and now she in my yard with a bent chassis ahh the pain anyway I have come across a red rn110r wich has a few creature comforts like power steer and ac! i will be building this truck and hopefully will post in the build section.

Very nice. Welcome! On a side note, I worked for Holden on a project when we put the inline six (from Nissan when they went to a v6) in the Commodore. ALL THE PEOPLE I WORKED WITH AUSTRALIA WERE GREAT PEOPLE!!!

Nice looking rigs. Great thing is we have a parts list and Pony Express to get parts moved around. I'm sure we could figure out a trans-continent shipment somehow.

Hey Silverback it's a 1982 rn46 sr5 with a tray instead of the tub I will be scrapping it as it has a bent chassis and it's hard to get a new one in good condition without having to do a lot of work so I've stepped up 11 years to the red 93 rn110r sr5 bit of a shame but I won't be complaining about the power steering and ac!!!!

I have an 81 pickup that looks very similar... minus the flatbed. Cool rig... too bad its scrap.

I actually had a look at a 81 before I bought the new one basicly the same truck but with round headlights instead of square too bad it was riddled with cancer. Most of the 81 to 85 hiluxs round here are well and truly stuffed but you do find a good gem here and there

TX shooter your talking a lot of money there I was looking into getting a sas kit from your way and the shipping was 5000 alone for 100kg so I'm going another way we have a bundera landcruiser over here that runs hilux diffs with coils so I'll probably end up doing that but if you can get cheap shipping or know someone with a huge boat haha
