Just need to be careful where you go... last time there was 2WD's out there we ended up towing or winching them around. Not fun for anyone. And yes, it was on the ranch roads.

To be honest I don't think that hill should be considered a ranch road considering you must have 4wd and a locker to get up it

Point being.. you need to be careful.. if you went down that first hill you where not making it up either side without assistance. It would have been easy for someone to just think they are on a ranch road and then end up stuck at the bottom of a little gully with no way out but your shoes.

I was there for that trip. My old truck was one that had to get pulled around.

We normally use ch 21 on the CB. We can keep using that one if it works for everyone.

Funny thing is that is a ranch road, the access down to dino falls isn't it?

Well yes and no. It used to be. Recently they did give that hill a name and a rating, Baby Back I think its called now.. I thinks its a 2. You can get to Dino falls through Hog Alley.. but its still really easy to find yourself in a bad spot if you are not 4WD.

this outta be fun. My cb shitted out though so I wont be using it. Snapped my antenna off and bought a new one and put it on but it hasnt worked since? any ideas?

sounds like you shorted it out, or broke the piece inside the mount.

the right angle mounting piece (that you drill onto something) is what snapped. Any way test if I shorted it? It still comes on and the PA works, just no cb
