I didn't get the tag either, but, I'm still pending on wheeling. Are you going to wheel after you camp too, or roll out?

Working on the tagging issue. As for wheeling - if I come down Saturday and camp that night I may go out for a few trails before heading out. I will want to be on the road out by noon. HF is about 2.5 hours from my garage.

Ok, was gonna say, if y'all weren't wheeling the next day, there's plenty of other great camp sites close by that are cheaper as well.

Yeah; something like that. I skipped out on the ABV portion of lunch today. I need to get that remedied.

I’d like to make it but I’ll more than likely be at K2 that weekend.

I hope the weather gets a little better before then. I have a friend that was at HF this weekend. He said the trails were great - no mud and the rocks were clean.

I was thinking about removing my RTT for this trip and ground tent camping. I need to decide soon.

The only reason I would leave my RTT at home is if my sammich maker did not go for an over night trip. Other than that I enjoy the space and comfort too much.

Just concerned about the trucks off-road performance with that extra weight on the back, plus I don't want to hear down camp just to hit the trails.

Last time I was at HF I had my RTT on. Overall it was not a big deal except for some of the tree branches being a little lower than I cared for.

Good training for wheeling Colorado and such with the RTT on.

Ok, ok. I'll keep the RTT on. It's the camp tear I don't care for since I'll be returning to the same camp site for night 2 of sleep.
Gotta love Peer Pressure! lol do whatcha want.
