This is really just for the two or more TOR people going. BearsFan07, and myself so far are going along with the Expo crowd.

Sean's comments.

I think that is a pretty good idea! It's a two day Trip driving down dirt roads and seeing what we can see. I am sure someone will break something! I am planning on taking the runner, and pray to find obstacles and come back with good stories.

At this time no firm date, but its looking like one of the last weekends of Feb. Weather should be perfect for camping, provided you have a good sleeping bag. :)

Define dirt roads. Pre-runner friendly? I wouldn't think so but just checking, if so I would be very interested. Can't view the thread on expo, not a member.

as long as this trip is the weekend of the 19-20 ill be up for a good road trip out to the hill country, want to check out that area of texas, nvr been that far west in texas.

"This trip is more about the scenery and comraderie then technical driving or challenges. This whole trip can be completed in a stock high clearance 2wd vehicle. Very much so, I'm going to wait until I hear a date before I commit to it but I am very interested. Truth is my off road truck is not up to par yet and there are VERY few things I can get away with doing in my Tacoma.

My wife thinks you guys are funny. No seriously, she said I could do what ever I wanted as long as I was at the party at 3 pm on Sunday, meaning I would have to break away a few hours early and start heading back home.
