Sam.. you should buy that. He's the dude you got the other "spare" 3rd member off of.

Every time I look at an IFS diff with the tube, I see a truck with that stub scrapped and the diff centered to allow LT without having to have a truck that is as wide as it is long! :)

It's the wrong IFS isn't it? I am totally game if it will work for the 3rd gen..

I thought 96-2002 4Runners and 95.5 - 2004 tacomas use the same diff.

You can switch the axle tube to convert it to ADD.

Frack me..
Um, I think they do use the same front diff (which is a high pinion clamshell). Also happens to be what is pictured in the add

that is what I was thinking, I didn't see the pic the first time.. I don't have the money to burn anyways, even though it is a KILLER deal.

No, they don't...the 2nd gen don't use a clamshell, they're passenger drop, and are low pinion

(when I refer to 3rd and 2nd gen I'm talking about 4runners)

I'm talking about this diff not working for Sam's 3rd gen 4Runner...it wouldn't work in a 95-03 Tacoma either

Edit: Just saw what you're talking about...I'm an asshole
