rear housing had to be clearanced. Really demonstrates the difference in thickness, therefore strength, between OEM and these Nitro gears.

So, my buddy that installed the 5.29's and crawler gears for me was going to deliver the truck to my house yesterday. Before loading up he decided to do a test run on the rock pile behind the shop. Dropped it in 4Low,first gear, center diff locked, front and rear diffs locked and it climbed great, then POP! He got under the truck and found that all the new torque had ripped the trans mount in half! So, new HD deisel LC trans mount en route. Glad he found it now and not during my trip in Februaury.

lol, pretty sure I told someone a couple months ago that the trans mount would be the first to go with a lower crawl ratio...

The 5.29s would actually reduce the load on the tranny mount, but even in a stock configuration that thing gets pretty tore up.

The tantrum light are cool... I've had two sets. Not overly bright but not blinding your spotter either. I'm keeping the control module and swapping out the lights for others. I have 5 pairs of Olympus Offroads 18v lights... not because I wanted to but because they hooked me up and they are bright as fuck... sorry spotter. :) http://olympusoffroad.3dcartstores.com/18W-Bolt-Rock-Lights_p_27.html Anyhow the Tantrum control module is fantastic as are in the standard lights. But you can you can use that light module for others.
