Well I got my atn X-sight scope in last night. It feels like a $1000 scope and comes with a ton of stuff. The little IR light they send with it, isn't that great but I'm just gonna buy a badass Streamlight IR light for it.
Pros: Super cheap price. Great build quality, ton of stuff with it, you can stream the scopes picture straight to your phone in real time which means you don't need a TV. The built-in features are pretty sweet. They have an experimental ballistics calculator built in too (still in development but can be updated later). Pics and video look good so far that you can take with it. It's easy to take pics & video.
Cons: Its heavy, but still manageable. The scope needs an IR light to work since it doesn't gather available light(moonlight) very well. Battery life sucks and I don't think you can use an external battery pack with it (and still be sealed from the environment. The cap that seals the HDMI input and SD card is a bitch to get open. Crappy IR light that comes with it.
Other than that I'm happy with it so far. It's going to be mounted on my 300 BO upper.

I see from the Amazon questions. 4 AA and lasts 2.5-3 hours at best. Hmm.. Wish it was a 18650 or CR123... something I have a ton of rechargeable versions of. But they do make rechargeable AA's. Maybe I'll ask Santa for one. LOL
I think there is an invasive species moving in at my local range. I was going through brass I picked up from the last time I went shooting and found a 10mm brass.

I looked at doing my own cerakoting. The stuff is cool and hard as nails.

Picked up a XD Mod 2, Subcompact .40 today. Diggin the shit out of it.
I hate to admit it but I really do like my XDm. It is easier to carry than my Sig 220 Compact. The capacity is higher, the gun is lighter, but my $($-#:/ lord the trigger is not comparison.

I'm used to the trigger on my XDm... that being said, I'm not opposed to spend $100 on a trigger job and see what it gets me. Michael did it and he said it was worth it. So.. maybe after Christmas or when I take it in to get CeraKoted I can have them do it. I think its a DIY upgrade, but if not that would be a prime time to do so.

One thing about the new XD Mod2, with the "grip zone", man that texture really holds onto skin. With the extended mag when you push the mag release it does not drop out.. its stuck to the base of your palm. The guy at Cabelas was like "oh you are doing it wrong.. let me show you".. and it stuck to his hand as well. LOL But thats ok. I don't mind the shorter magazine. We'll see how it shoots. Not like I'm some match shooter who needs to exchange magazines in .03 seconds.
