If your looking for a manly gun; here you go. Meet Samantha. She was my girl/rifle for two years and we went everywhere together. This pic is of her on top of the ambassador's house in Saudi Arabia in the Summer of '04.

When I get the spare cash together I'm going to get an M14. That was one great rifle. It wasn't "dime accurate" but we did hit a tall metal paint bucket at 1,400 yds in Djibouti, Africa, with some. That is accurate enough for me.

nice man! The ammo I ordered should be in today. I may go this weekend so I can do the same. I was shooting really tight groups last time with the 55 gr so I am hoping to replicate lol

Picked up a cheap lower (although I'm not complaining at all... Plum Crazy composite lower... trigger is surprisingly nice.. and its lightweight.. and it got great reviews), Magpul MAID grip, VLTOR stock and a black Magpul 30 rnd mag.

The new plan is to order a stripped lower (still need to figure out what I want.. billet w/ an american flag would be my choice.. but..) and then built it out.. in the meantime I'll use the Plum Crazy lower. Once I build up a "nice" lower I'll pull the Plum Crazy and then build that out as a lightweight short barrel weapon.

I still want to migrate the scope to a Remington 700.. looking for the right caliber still. 338 Ultra Mag?? :)
