That seems a little excessive. As long as you sleep in your "tactical" underwear every night you should be prepared for any night intruder situation

On an unrelated note, I'm selling tactical underwear for $35/pair :)

It appears you have never worked with Marine Infantry. A claymore perimeter sounds like an awesome plan! Just don't get the clackers mixed up. lol

My English teacher in High school uncle was a weed farmer. He put landmines all around his house so the cops couldn't sneak up on his house. It was a great idea until he stepped on one and blew his leg off and bled out all by himself(this was before cell phones).

Armed bystander stops stabbing outside school

SAN ANTONIO - A woman is in critical condition after she was stabbed outside her child's school Tuesday morning.

The attack happened around 10:00 a.m. Tuesday outside the Bonham Academy on St. Mary's Street. Teresa Barron, 38, had just dropped off her child at the school when the child's father showed up, and the two got into an argument. The child's father, 38-year-old Roberto Barron allegedly then stabbed the woman several times in the upper body and neck area.

Police say a bystander who happened to be a concealed handgun license holder pulled his weapon and ordered Barron to drop the knife. Barron surrendered and was taken into custody by the bystander and a school district officer.

The woman was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center.

Barron was arrested for aggravated assault, and is in jail on a $150,000 bond.

Or better yet, they realize that bad things still happen in "Gun Free Zones" and do away with them altogether :)

They should just rename "Gun Free Zones" to "Fish in a Barrel"; it would at least be truth in advertising.

So you're saying there's a chance!
guy had a carry pistol near a school?

It's my understanding that he was accross the street. Perfectly legal as long as he is not on school property. And you can have in in your vehicle if you are on school property, I believe. On a similar note, they finally passed the law where you can carry concealed on Texas college campuses.

What!!! I need to look for the article on that. God I wish I could've carried on campus(my last 1.5 years I would've been legal to do so)

Damn, I just re-read some articles... passed in the senate, but not the house.
