Only ammo readily available around here is 12/20 gauge
Was at dicks sports last week and they got a box of .22 in but like $25 for 50 rounds no 500 boxes anywhere
Fucking brutal
They cant stop the guns so they are cutting off the ammo
Another year and there will be nothing anywhere

I went to the gun show in Austin this past weekend. Picked up 100 rnds of .40 (Winchester 155 gr fmj) for $60 and 100 rnds of .22 (CCI mini mag hollow points) for $20. Damn shit is worth more than gold these days.

no more .22 challenges ..cuz no more ammo.....pretty sure everyone used what they had with them last meet...and we couldnt find anymore in pa either.....
my friend in fl says ammo not a problem there.....

I had to look around for some 'decent' .40 ammo.. most was some nasty shit that I wasn't going to feed into my XDM.
On the flipside, saw some good deals on guns. At this point I think I'm going to get a new 12 gauge, seems there is still plenty of that out there.

yes you do! They had plenty of bullet supplies.. however I'm not sure if the prices where any good or not. Last time I reloaded anything was 20 years ago. I need to get back into it. My old neighbor has a killer automated loader (well you pull the handle and insert a bullet into the brass.. but the rest is done).. don't recall the brand. But he said if I buy the components he'll help me reload it.

If any of y'all in the Houston area are still having a hard time finding ammo, the Academy at Nasa Rd. 1 and I-45 was completely stocked when I went last night. They had an entire isle full of everything except 22LR and they said those were coming this morning. If you want .40 S&W, they are stocking it at the customer service counter though.

By far the best light I have ever seen. Four Sevens maelstrom mm-x. 900 lumen bust mode and it illuminates 250 yards easy. It will also give you a damn head ache testing it out in the house
