My Plano rifle case came in today so I setup my 300 BlkOut toy box tonight. It has the subsonic suppressor, both the 8.5" and 10" uppers, and the SBR lower. The extra pieces are just nice to have with the single "grab-n-go" case.

Sorry about the blurry pic - my phone has been acting up since I dropped it the other night. New one should be here tomorrow.

Called ATF, she said expect 5 months,(submitted March 28) towards the end of August/mid Sept to get my stamp for the trust.

A lot language and possible ATF rule changes out there on the boards since May.
This may make more difficult to have these trusts and probably will eventually require everyone on the trust to submit form 4's, what a headache eh.

Dang; going to make it harder and harder to have stuff that there is no legitimate reason for us not to have in the first place.

Question about barrel length. If I had a 14" barrel with a 2.5" flash suppressor threaded onto the end... is it legal? Gut tells me no, but curious.

No shit...his mom should have put his fetus in a bucket before he was born. His forehead does look like it might have some coathanger scars on it though.

This is him.

Threaded is your key word - it needs to be pinned or welded so as it is not easily removed.

Can't be removable. Once you pin and weld it, it's legal. If you want something short, just get a pistol AR and never "shoulder it", because that's illegal too.

Or post videos on IdiotTube about how using a Sig brace is an " SBR workaround". Lol

Yep. I always  when those guys would say that.

Stupid should hurt with a big fine or prison time. While I agree that the SBR rules are in effect ignorant that does not remove the fact they are still law. Trying to project the image of a "law abiding citizen" while committing a felony does not help the cause at all.

Sig showed the ATF the pile of cash they were willing to invest in the lawsuit. Somebody quickly reminded the ATF that they were a law enforcement agency; not law creation agency. To my knowledge; the ATF is only prosecuting people who use the Sig brace as an "SBR work around" device.

Ah but still how does one prove it's an "ar pistol" vs an SBR with the brace, I suppose you could have it engraved but even at that where does the pistol begin and SBR begin. This seems like something I've asked before but can't remember the answer

The pistol brace only fits pistol buffer tubes. Where the ATF is catching people is "intent". If a person shoulders a pistol with a Sig brace their intent is SBR. If they use aa Sig brace as a pistol brace their intent is legal. In the end photos and videos are the damning evidence for the ATF.
