Removable mag well and a single 5 rnd mag arrived today. Supposedly they will offer 10 rnd ones as well as a 6 rnd modification you can do to the 5's? I'll probably just grab two more 5's. Bipod legs are not extended but they only go out another 2" or so. A 10 rnd might require a new bipod.

I have not tried it for full auto; but it handles a mag dump pretty well. The biggest thing about making your own suppressor is the materials and design. There are lots of options for both and some work better than others. The only limit is available tools/machinery and $$$.

I shot ~360 rounds of .223 last night. Mainly practicing double taps and mag changes for an upcoming competition shoot. I def learned some things I need to change and modify.

There was a guy with a full auto AR next to me and he was shooting slow single shots at first, then he flipped the giggle switch and scared the shit outta me!

Holy Cow I have not heard someone reference SC in a long time. It has been a while since I trudged around there. While I do not believe people should not shoot .308; it is easy to see that ballistically the 6/6.5 calibers beat it hands down.


Precision Rifle Blog has done a survey the last few years of the most popular rounds and comparison of where they end up on the score boards. Overall it is a pretty good read for caliber, rifle setup, and glass. I still maintain that there is an inherent difference between punching holes in paper and punching holes in people.

I've had this rifle and the 870 for over 2 years now. Never seen a round down range with either. . Shit I haven't shot my AR in over 3 years. Gun closet queens. Garage queens. Fuck I have a lot of queens in the house. Shit. I am starting to like Broadway plays!!!
