Interested to see how this does. I've never had luck with Superformance ammo in any of my guns. It wasn't completely terrible out of the 6.8 but the Wilson Combat and SSA rounds still shot half the group size of the Superformance.

Groups pretty decent out of my RPR. You never know what individual barrels like what round honestly. That's why I always buy a bunch of different ammo and try it out. My 18" AR hates the Hornady white buck 55gr (IIR the ammo name correctly), it groups like absolute shit. But on that same barrel, it groups the Hornady A-Max 55gr like a champ.

Yeah I bought like 5 different boxes of ammo to test out of my 6.8
Ehhhh I am not sure that is a sign the Hearing Protection act is doomed. I know a couple of local FFLs and gun stores have all said their walk in traffic and ammo sales have dipped off sharply since nobody fears they are going to lose their 2A rights tomorrow. The HPA passing would actually do a lot to stabilize these smaller gun shops and firearms manufacturers.
Also I should be bringing this beauty home with me on Sunday. A friend of mine needs cash and knows I have been wanting an M1a for a while. This is actually a Norinco M14 clone. We will not talk about a happy switch at this time.

It will be a slow build; but eventually it will be like the rifle I carried in Iraq. I loved that girl.
Man I have read and heard so many hate/love relationships about the M14. A lot of guys love them and a lot of guys hate them.
A lot of guys loved or hated the AR platform as well. The M14s sucked for moving a lot doing door to door stuff; but was great for mid range precision work. The 30 cal bullet really helped change a lot of minds fast.
