Nice find Sean! I will order some in the spring when I start to use more of it. That is a savings of $2-$3 a can.

Check your ratio for your chainsaw and other equipment. The 50:1 is more common and is what my Echo and Sthil takes.

I checked earlier today. 40:1. The Poulan is a cheap Husqvarna and I guess somewhat of an odd ball.

I have had nothing but good experiences with them, but they are the cheap line (considered a med. grade) of Husqvarna. Typically a smaller engine for the size of bar vs a pro saw, and more plastic parts. My saw was one they came out with a tooless chain/bar adjustment. It is a week point... Hence my waiting on a part now. I don't know if there is a real difference between the Poulan Pro saws and the regular Poulans, but I do know I have never seen either for sale at a real saw shop.

Is Poulan really that bad? I thought they were a good brand. Maybe it's just name recognition..

I had a cheap $100 Poulan. It lasted about 6 years. Ran great for the first few tanks and then started acting up. It served its purpose but not well.

Sounds like plenty of help the clear trail if needed!

8 people would have been much less work last year. 24 hours to go about 20 miles was ridiculous. Thanks Icemageden.

Just ordered a Uniden 510, 18' of coax, antenna mount, and a firestick for the trip... Assuming everything comes in on time and I get it put in, I shouldn't have to point my portable CB at whomever I want to talk to this trip. Plus I might actually hear transmissions from over 50' away. :o

You guys really should just go buy the cheap 2M handhelds from Amazon. They are under $50 and blow away a CB. While it's not technically legal to use without a license, where you guys will be I'm sure nobody is listening. :)

I want to get a basic license in the near future... I really just want the CB to bring out my inner trucker. Lol

LOL... well if more people had them.. they wouldn't be in the box. Also, download the instructions to your phone/tablet or leave the instructions in the truck. When we went to BB last year I gave A-Aron my handheld and we used the fixed one in my truck to talk back and forth. Somehow we got it set on Chinese as the language. Still worked but it took some noodling to figure out how to do it. But alas.. nobody wheels and even fewer have a 2M.

The 2m was bad ass. Roger and I took a hike and we're several miles from the truck. We could talk very clearly and the clarity is way better.
