Time off entered and my boss says that he approves it as long as nothing "comes up", meaning his boss says I have to go back to Saudi or some other equally sucktastic country.

Last year it was cold. Upper 20s the last night we were there. I doubled up on jackets...which were cheap and thing. Picked up a Marmot Ramble 3/1 jacket for this years trip and whatever cold weather we may get this year in Houston. Should last me a few years.

I've got loads of cold weather work and hunting gear. Not the lightest or coolest new wiz bang stuff, but warm and well tested. Lol

Ordered an Oklahoma Atlas and Gazetteer from Amazon. Apparently I had $3 worth of book discounts for choosing no rush Prime shipping. I now have Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

They must run that sale pretty regular. Shipping is $6, so with the Amazon promo discount I had it was a couple bucks cheaper from Amazon in the end.
