The biggest problem is most of us either A). daily drive our trucks or B). still have a truck payment and have a hard time making our trucks look like a Las Vegas whore's va-j-j just for some shits and giggles. Would love to hit the really hard shit, but the problem is, I still have to drive my shit to work after the fact. I think I would pass out if I made my bed sides look like yours and then look at my payment draining my account on the same day...smh...your ability to beat the fuck out of your truck and then drive your runner afterwords is just out of most of our league....

Meh...I got a DD, but I'm not torching the sheet metal on a 30k truck I bought new with less than 30k on the odo.
When you have more dollars in it than miles, any rational instinct will say "not yet" to the high body damage trails. I want to keep this truck for 200k at least. Plus, it's just the wrong kind of vehicle for really hard wheeling. If I want to go harder at this point, it just makes sense to get rid of the note on the truck and just build a buggy. Which very well may become the project once the truck's paid off...

I hear you there. Mine will be paid off in June next year. That's why i bought my red truck. I like where my taco is now. All the mods on it could have been a little better spent on the trail rig. They could easily pay for links and possibly tons. I still have to dd that black bitch about 65 miles a day.

Had a CEL come on in the truck this morning....checked over everything, cleaned air filter and maf sensor. Both were absolutely disgusting. Maf was caked in dust. cleaned and no more CEL. Also noticed that I have something growling in the serpintine system. Thinking either idler pulley or power steering pump, my pump has always leaked like hell so could be either. Hopefully this shit can just hang in there for a little while longer until I can replace it with a psc system.
Time to start DD the 4runner.
