Hmmmmmm cause I was originally thinking of doing either Ranchos or Billies, then a 1" lift shackle in the rear. Or get really stupied and get some new coils up front, set my billies to 0, then do a 1.5"-2" shackle in the rear OR a whole new leaf pack....but then continue to run my 31s until the are bald and then get some nice 33" M/Ts.

Gonna be trying 285/75/17 for my next set on a 17x7.5 wheel, which will definitely give a pizza cutter look to a 34" tire. See how I feel about it when I get there.
FWIW, I don't believe the "pizza cutters hook up better" theory, but I do believe it makes it easier to stuff another .5" of ground clearance under my truck without cutting metal
We'll see how it turns out when the time comes; I don't think traction will be meaningfully different.
Current set is 33x10.5, already slim compared to many 33s, will be taller but no wider at the new size. I think I can get 'em in there and still retain the stock fender flares. We'll find out.
