Man that sucks. Shitty part about finding Swampers on sale... finding another single one on "sale" is damn near as much the the other 4.


Side note - I left my jack under my rig like that overnight and it leaked out... wedging the jack handle under the rig. What a f*cking nightmare that was.

Having been greatly influenced by my brother that went to a tech school and taught at one (as well as owning a couple of auto/truck repair places) - He would have smacked me in the head for not using a jack stand. Another punishable offence was to leave a jack with the valve in seated position. He didn't like rebuilding jacks!!!

I use jackstands 99% of the time.. if I'm under the vehicle.. there is a jackstand. It was on Clyde when I was having the beadlocks leak down overnight and I was just using the jack to allow me to rotate the tire to get to the vavle stem easier for filling.. forgot about it.. left it... tire leaked down.. jack leaked down.. lucky for HiLift and sliders/bumpers. Had a nice dent under the rig into the bed from it though.

Funny thing is that same dent on the raisin wouldn't be noticed... You would have been moaning about the paint scratch on the jack!!!

Had a slight problem with one of my tires as of late.......

So I have been catching up on getting some stuff installed that has been sitting on the shelf for a long time..

Had to move the horns up front for the the install of the Blue seas 12 circuit fuse block. I made up a 4ga power and ground cable for that as well.

Finally got my bed lights powered up. I ran the switch to one of the blank spots above the radio and used a 12V 30 Amp relay

Switch not completely installed but working. I was chasing down a bad ground and a couple blown fuses

Now i just need my warranteed tire to come in and Ol Red will be ready to roll again

Basically finished up all the wiring on the red truck (tucked away and zip tied). Finished the Vision X rock lights, and have everything hard wired into the fuse block under the hood. Just waiting on my tires to come in at 4WP so I can drive Ol Red around the block and hopefully to HF Labor Day weekend.

Spent the better part of the last 2 days doing the Rammat install on my Tacoma. I have the drivers rear door done with the speaker wire run through into the cab. Got the rear of the cab basically finished. Also did the front floorboards as well. I ran my 0 Ga power wire form the engine bay to the drivers seat since i had everything taken apart anyways. I just need to finish the other 3 doors and get some longer bolts to hole the speaker rings in place and the install will be well under way.

They put out plenty of light but have some kinda Bro functions. Except for the strobe, I like that. I thought I was going into a trance the other night while playing with the light control.

I have had mine for about 2 yrs as well. I origianally bought them for my Tacoma. There will be a shit ton of cable left which will have to be rolled up and tied out of sight.

.. I've had a set for about 2 years.. planned to put them on the Taco (replace the ones I have) but they are still in the box. But the Raisin has a set and they are cool. I prefer the light that doesn't blind my spotter at 1AM.
