It was a few years ago now. I want to get a windshield back on and be able to get my full doors to fit again. It suck when the forecast shows rain and you know you’ll get soaked. Nathan is going to bend me up a halo for the roof and some a pillar protection to hopefully prevent it in the future.

A buggy will be next. Red truck is about as done as it gets.

Made a quick trip out today and picked up a new trailer. 24’ PJ lowboy. Now to find the right camper for the front.

Dang; fancy trailer for the rig. Going to be getting spoiled with all the nice gear. Talk about a big difference from the year you drove it up to Jambo from Houston.

We had a blast wheeling at K2 this past weekend. Lil Red took a beating but kept on ticking. I’m working on a steering leak that developed or worsened while I was out there.

Out of all of my body damage, busting the XtraCAb window bothered me the most.

I have a spare window but yep it is bothersome. This will get hung on the wall if I can keep it together

Mine shatter. I still have the rubber seal on the wall, but that’s all that remains.

I don't know how much you want to save the window for sentimental value, but if you want to here's what I would recommend:

if the glass is very unstable (it looks like it is) you can try to cut then fit a pc of plastic/cardboard/anything slightly rigid behind it so when you go from having it vertical to trying to lay it horizontal it doesn't fall apart on you.

Once you get it down you could lay it on a board, frame the perimeter of the board with some quarter round or similar then pour 1/2" of epoxy on top of it and it will never fall apart.

It broke as soon as I tried pulling it. What a mess.

In other news, I have been tracking down a transmission issue. I may have it remedied not quite sure yet. It runs and drives but the next outing will be the deciding factor.

Work interfered with going to hot springs last weekend with Nathan and Alex so I’m looking out for the next excursion to the trails.
