I probably will hit you up about the fuel cell plumbing. Those studs are for mounting the hi lift.

That is a virgin swamper freshly shined up with some meguires quick detailer. Gotta fight off the dry rot :)

Well I officially have a truggy. Swung by Ray's today and dropped off the bed.

Cleaned up the rear of the cab with some rustoleum bed liner.

Also pulled the fuel sender to see if anything was prohibiting its proper function. Nothing. Probably need a new sender.

Pulled the fuel pump assembly and replaced the fuel pump with my spare since the original pump didn't sound healthy. Seems to run better with the new pump.

Just waiting on the bed to show up so I can get it installed this week.

Got started on the rear crossmember. Chopped off 2.5 inches of the frame that won't be needed. Added a piece of 3x3 .25wt square tube and burned it in. Had to add a piece of 1x1 angle to the top to use all 4 holes to mount the lights. Stabbed the lights in to see how ell my hole marking and tape skills were. Just need to figure out the wiring now.

needs more glitter.

:)

Save room on the 3x for some D-shackle mounts.. Looking awesome though. Patiently awaiting the final results.

I have room on each side of the red lights for some clevis mounts. Those should be here next week.

I have the wiring almost figured out. Only problem is when I try to use my blinkers, both of the red lights flash no matter which direction I signal. Any suggestions? I'm sure its an easy fix just don't know where to go from there. I plugged into the stock harness with 2 female plugs off of some smashed up tail light housings that I had laying around.

I had to use separate lights between the brakes and the blinkers. I had the same issue you are having when I did mine. My thoughts at the time where to wire them kinda like a trailer but I couldn't make it work.

No help here on the lights. I just wired mine to a single large LED light that serves both brake light and marker light purpose. I just had to identify the correct wire that powered each. No turn signals.

You have to wire each side seperately for blinkers to work ,plug on left for left and one on right for right side lights

Thanks for input. I still have time to get it figured out. Bed will be here by tomorrow afternoon. Got 3 of the 4 body mounts cut off before I got some shit in my eye. Got it out but I'm pretty sure I may have scratched my eye. Should be good to go by tomorrow

Don't learn the hard way, it sucks having a sliver pulled from your eye. Put those safety glasses to use

Thing is, I had my glasses on. Guess I need a face shield too.

I have one of those I use for heavy grinding, reminds me I need new shield. I use the dorky wide lens ones, they fog up easy but are better than the stylish ones for protection.

I now wear ear plugs as well when heavy grinding. Last time I was grinding a hot piece bounced into my ear and down the canal. Hurt like hell as it sat there and sizzled inside my ear!!

I wear plugs as well. I'm already a little deaf.

Wiring will be the final step. I am pretty sure I got it figured out.

Picked up the bed this afternoon. Did a little fitting and trimming and got it welded on. I have to say my little Hobart machine is a workhorse.

Everything went on easily since we cut the mounts off flush with the frame.

Now that the hard part is done, the little tedious chores begin.
