Damn! I am heading to Kemah this Friday - Sunday for a wedding and thought I could break free and get the parts myself. Oh well, I'll send the truck.

Shit,

I can middleman for y'all on Friday or early Saturday. My girl gets back from Bali in the afternoon, so I'll be indisposed after that...

Thanks Rich. Just let me know what you want to do Rob. My office is only about 20 from Kemah. I can leave them at the office with a coworker if you want to swing by Friday.

Decided to clean up my trans tunnel and cover while the interior was ripped out of the truck. It never was sealed up well the first time and didn't have any soda holders. The first version let a crap ton of heat and fumes into the cab. Hopefully this will eliminate a little of that. I built a frame out of 5/8 square tubing and cleaned up the cuts on the tunnel. The top cover comes off by removing 4 bolts that go into some nut zerts. Still doing some finishing touches on it. I need to weld it out, enlarge the hole for the crawl box and shoot a coat of paint on it.

I need to have a WAT at my place and have you carve out my tunnel (no homo) and do that. lol Looks awesome. You are becoming quite the metal working machine!! Nice how you molded the metal around the ribs.

Thanks Sean. Going to try to get it knocked out this week. I still need to figure out how I am going to fab the drink holders in and possibly mount my external cb speaker into the console. Then seal it up and paint it.

I got the console welded up. I just need to do some finishing touches and a little grinding with a flap disk to knock off the rust and give it a shot of paint. I will have to figure out a boot for my crawl box and trans shifter. I think may have that figured out now.

I built a mount fort sub to sit in. Everything came loose when I rolled at Gilmer at Jambo. I'm going to go with a set of Crawl tunes speaker pods to eliminate my 6x9s and to make mounting them easier to mount to the cage.

I got 3 of the 37s dismounted today and the other 2 hopefully by the end of the week. The set of 5 steel D-window wheels for sale then. 15x8 with 2.5in BS.

Looks good Chris. Weld a couple loops on that sub mount and add a ratchet strap should anything happen in the future.

BTW, I really like my Crawl Tunes pods.

I have those ready to be welded on. The rack is removable so I can pull it out and paint it. I need to clean up the welds a little be fore it goes back in. I'm looking for some lockable storage to go under the rack for some security ( wallet, pistol, contraband:)

Well it's going to be shaved sort of. Using the Barnes diff cover and knocking off the bottom lip.

We have been watching those also, have our tire guy looking at importing some. 1500 for a set that you cant get a replacemt for is pricey, also you never know if he will get another shipment and be stuck out

Still sounds better than 500 a pop for everything else

Pretty good looking tire! Providing the lugs don't tear off it looks to probably work really well. Just buy a few spares.

I've been looking at those tires. I'll hold off until you get a couple runs on them, and then I'll decide if I want to switch to them.
