No updates for a little while due to me being out of towna and buying a house. At least i have a 2 car garage so I am bale to make some progress at my house now.

Goiong to install every thing I have first before anything else. Picked up a used Grant steering wheel today for free from a guy at work who upgraded the one in his Chevelle. Free is Good!!!!!

Thanks man, Looks like Drew found the pic I wanted to see. I mounted my shocks the same way as you did (mine are a bit more angled) and people are telling me I should have made the mounting holes perpendicular to each other to allow the axle to move front to back. Have you had any binding issues with yours?

Thanks Drew.

No binding yet. A couple of the TTORA guys that have inboarded their rears have similar mounting locations as well.

Are your shocks 10" ones?

I forgot about that pic. Those are homemade mounts from my fab guy Dale

I have seen several inboarded shock mounts aswell. Nothing wrong with angling them, word on the street is that I should not have the mounting eyes facing the same direction but the more I look around I see it done alot.

Check out this add from Low Range Offroad - bolts facing the same direction as mine and yours.

It does make sense to me to have the mounting eyes perpendicular to each other, I just didn't realise it untill it was too late and now I am wondering if I should redo it.

I need the 10" 5125's, I have 8-1/2" 5100's that came off of Todds first gen but they are limiting my droop.

With such a short shackle, I don't think you'll see enough front to back movement for it to be an issue, you're talking like one degree of movement any bushing can handle that. I don't think it would be a problem untill you start trying to pull like 15"+ of travel

Finally got moved into the house this past week. I remember why I hate moving.

I had been chasing an electrical Gremlin with the red truck that showed up last week and just about left me stranded. Got it figured out yesterday and got the last piece of the puzzle moved to the house. Im sure our 85 year old neihbors loved it with the Flowmaster 40 resonating between out houses :)

I need to start organising my garage so I can get to work. At least i have some room to work now!!!!!

Looks good Chris. What winch did you go with?

Looks like you've got a decent sized garage

That was the key buying point for me. 728 sqft, wired for 220 and integrated shelving, storage and workbench

Looks good Chris. What winch did you go with?

Warn M8000. Its just mounted not hooked up yet. Need to order some parts. Buying the house depleted the ol bank account......for now :)

Very nice garage! It is a plus that it is detached aswell. If it is not already I would insulate the shit out of it so you can get away with making noise late at night.

x2! Thats what we did in my garage. It helps both with noise and it helps keep the A/C inside our garage. We run a window unit inside when it gets hot. LOL
