I should be getting out and about here sooner or later. The A/C in my Tacoma just recently took a shit to the tune of almost 2 GRAND. Kinda put a hamper on a couple of things for a bit.

Probably going to bypass putting the carpet in unless its too noisy in the cab. I found a set of 85 seats with the SR5 fabric that I need to pick up along with the wheels that Drew picked up for me. Just tires, driveshaft and reassemble the interior after that.

Made a little progress last night.

I wanted to make sure that everything was good and dry before I reinstalled the trim, interior, seats and radio. After a week I guess it is dry enough :)

The main reason I wanted to do it was to measure for the console that i want to pick up. It looks like it might just fit. I have 30 inches from the shifter cover to the rear of the cab and almost 9 inches acrosss the tranny tunnel between the seat belt latches. The console is 12 or 13 inches tall, so it is about the perfect dimension.

I also put a fresh coat of paint on my sliders to cover up some gouges from Gilmer. They dont look half bad painted. I cant wait to get my new ones on though.

Did a little work this weekend. Started installing my hand throttle which is a little more of a chore than I really wanted to get into...got started nonetheless. Basically got the cable and linkage fished throught the tranny tunnel and into the engine bay. Should have a newer look by the end of the week......

Sweet man, did you get a kit or just building from scratch?

Its a kit, though not specific to my truck and will try to make it work. It is the Teraflex hand throttle kit.

Thats the favorite thing I like about my rig, the hand throttle.. it makes life 10x easier on the trails. Mine looks like a BMX bike brake lever and cable. Just FYI. Not sure what it really is though.

I found out it was going to be a necessity after wheeling it at Gilmer in Jan. Just not enough feet for the accelerator, clutch and brake pedals.
