damn! That sucks bad.

$260 on a new set of tires and one rim and $500 deductible,

Ins will cover everything but the replacement of the tire-(maintenance item).... I messed the rim up dragging it to a safe place to change the tire, cheaper than the Ins paying for a tow right?

Rockwood ultra-lite 17ft. click on my profile and there is a pic

Thats cool. I was just looking at a CampLite 16'er today. The local place is a dealer so I stopped in. Unfortunately they didn't have any in stock but would be getting some in 4-6 weeks. Now to just sell mine.

That link didn't work... it opened up the page with all the RV's on it.

The local place is called Princess Craft. http://www.princesscraft.com/ They also had an "off-road" version of the R-Pod there with a slide-out. Pretty slick little unit.

The one I have now is a Jayco 23FB, but its just too damn big.

That would be Debbi the school bus driver from Van Fleck, RV neighbors next to us. That was the river(90% salt) right behind the camp sites..maybe 125ft to the water.

The best Redfish I catch are always in the wierdest places. I once caught a 24"er on a snoopy fishing pole with 5lb line, lol. We had set it out for my friends daughter. She went to bed and we forgot about it till I say something was tugging on it. Good thing I had set the drag real light before I cast it out. The fish was already good and wore out, so I was able to angle him in even though the slightest tug started pulling out line.

Same thing happened to me. I handed my friend my pole to go take my boots off since it was damn hot. 10sec later the biggest bass ever hits the bait and my friend starts trying to muscle it in pointing the rod straight out towards the fish. Some how he got it within about 8ft then the 15lb line snaps. It was a monster large mouth, and I was pretty pissed.

Frack me..
That my friend is coax cable wrapped around the axle!
Tire less than 4yr old, less than 12k miles - "made in China"
I was going 60-65mph and 'bang', center lane of I45 north, not a good place to be..

The new American made tires on the RV now...http://www.carlisletire.com/ and its at the shop getting fixed....

I really don't think there are any "american made" trailer tires for the RV;s.. they are all Chinese! Amazing you got 4 years out of it!
