i AM REALLY interested to hear how hard yours is compared to mine. I just bought a new crank bolt. Was going to put it in next week, then give the tool back to Rob. Where are you doing the job? Want help?

The plan is to take it to Rob's cause he's actually done it before and has all the cool tools. If you want to lend a hand that'd be great

They are true, but it happened over international waters so I couldn't be prosecuted

What are you doing with the wheels, or are you already running spacers?

hmm, Is your spare on a 5 Star? meh, your Spacers will make it clear regardless. I'm just jealous.

Nice man, I think I'm gonna try to upgrade the brakes on my 4RUnner too. I'll bet the T100 brakes would work or maybe from a Tacoma.

Would it be better to buy Napa rotors or get some OEM used rotors and get em resurfaced? I'm gonna pick up OEM pads I just don't know which rotors to get...and ebay is full of cheap rotors and pads so I'm already struggling with forking out the extra dough but its my brakes so I'm trying not to go too cheap .

Thats what I figured, thanks...maybe down the road if the Napa's aren't cutting it I'll get the EBC or Brembo's

I put some slotted Brembos on my 2000 tacoma and didn't hardly notice an improvement. Wasn't worth the $$ IMO.

Good to know, I just realized that with the Napa's and OEM pads this whole mod is gonna cost about $250...which isn't bad but I could get the locker for $237 shipped right now so I'm hoping this will be worth the opportunity cost

If you had to do brakes anyway, then it's definitely worth it.

Drifter33 is making custom CB mounts for 3rd gen Runners, you can find him on T4R. They are very well made and don't interfere with the hatch:
