I have no idea if anyone intends to video. A lot of pictures will be taken. If I video, it would just be short clips on my phone.

Would be neat to see it all documented on video though.

OOOH Ya, my name's on the list! woohoooo, my truck is gonna look bitchin by then!

Hopefully it wheels as cool as it looks.

LMAO... it looks like it should wheel. Oh damn, now there are scratches and dents. Hey, nobody said this would happen when wheeling. WTF!

I will have my on contour cam w me. So I'll be recording most of the time. It does good in the cab but outside it has a nasty wind noise if doing some speed. There's video with it in the jambo thread and maybe the hill country thread, can't remember if I uploaded it or not.

I went and ran Waterfall in the Glade today. I scratched up a flare and made heavy contact with every single bumper, slider, and skid plate on my truck multiple times. Traction is an issue too. Locked in back and ATRAC in front it took every ounce of traction I had to make several sections. Had I not hit all the lines just right, I would have definitely needed a strap. We did need to pull on a triple locked Land Cruiser that chose the wrong line.

This trail is just about all a modified Tacoma can handle (and its only rated upper middle of the road in difficulty here in the Glade).

The trail can't wait to meet you guys.:D

If PD3 comes down & rides with me, I may be coming to this run. He sounded interested...

We all hate long road drives. You'll be okay. Just come on up. Hey Greg did you make skid plates for the underside? or did you buy them? Got any pics of them by chance? And the front bumper looks great by the way. I should be done with mine hopefully by the end of the week and starting on the rear.

Yeah, I've got homemade heavy plates down there. I don't have any pictures but I could get some. My front bumper is almost done. Its structurally sound (which is why I took the truck on Waterfall) but it still has some finishing work. I look forward to seeing your finished product.

I LOVE long drives (not sarcasm). Something about putting my wits and endurance to the test along side my vehicle just does it for me. Even when it's flat highway

You would have made a good long haul truck driver. I personally would not enjoy it.

I've known some long haul guys. Its a tough life and hard on the family but they, like you apparently would too, love it.

Both physically and mentally, I've always been more of a sprinter and less of a marathoner.

You moved to the wrong state dumb ass.. (I mean this in the most kind and supportive manor) LMAO

Got a visual of idiocracy with your 'dumbass' comment, so I figured I'd give you a LOL in this form

Well just found out that the wife's work is going to fuck her over and possibly not give her the days off so it might just be me. But we r still working on that. If the next time Lu are under your truck Greg u could snap a pic or two of the skid. I want to try to get mine done before the trip but I'm not sure if that is going to happen or not. I'm going to at least have the front bumper skid tie into the lower front skid and back to the crossmember but I'm not sure how far back I'm going to be able to get them before the trip. And I can't wait to see finished pics of yours as well. How is the application process going by the way?
